The Reiterlesmarkt is Rothenburg's time-honoured Christmas market and takes place between the Marktplatz, Grünplatz and Kirchplatz. At the opening, the legendary "Reiterle" rides in; around sixty stalls offer handicrafts, regional specialities and mulled wine against a medieval backdrop.
