A traditional Christkindlmarkt (Christmas market) around the church square in front of the parish church of St Peter and Paul in Oberammergau. Lovingly decorated stalls offer festive specialities, mulled wine, handicrafts and gift ideas. The market is regarded as a "market with heart", as the proceeds go to charitable causes.
