The Advent market on the market square in front of the historic town hall invites visitors to linger among half-timbered houses and historic buildings. There are warming drinks and small delicacies, handicrafts and regional products before the illuminated backdrop of the town hall. For children, a steam-powered Ferris wheel turns. The market is part of the Weihnachtsstadt Marburg (Marburg Christmas City).
