On Carnival Sunday, the children's costume parade of the Märchenprinz (fairy-tale prince) moves through Aachen's city centre. Costumed children, clubs and groups take part. It is the child-friendly parade held ahead of the Rosenmontagszug, the main Rose Monday procession.
