Villacher Krampuslauf

At the Villacher Krampuslauf (Krampus run), numerous Krampus and Perchten groups pass through the city centre. Wearing eerie masks and curved horns, accompanied by the dull sound of bells, the groups make their way across the Villacher Hauptplatz (main square), providing a highlight of the pre-Christmas period.
