The Dreikönigsmarkt (Epiphany market) is a traditional pedlars' market in Villach's city centre, where more than 100 exhibitors and vendors from all over Austria offer their goods. The market goes back to the former Kathreinmarkt, first mentioned in the chronicles in 1432, and was originally conceived as a cattle market. To this day it has retained its appeal as a market for pedlars and small traders.
