Midsummer's Festival

Funfair · Lindsborg, Heritage Square · June 19, 2027

Note: the 2027 date is not yet officially confirmed – please check with the organiser before visiting.

Lindsborg's Midsummer's Festival marks the summer solstice with a Midsummer pole raising, traditional Swedish folk dancing, a Kubb lawn-game tournament, and craft demonstrations at Heritage Square. The small Kansas town, nicknamed 'Little Sweden, USA,' was settled by Swedish immigrants in the 1860s and keeps up Scandinavian rather than German traditions. The one-day festival is held downtown across from the Swedish Heritage Museum and Old Mill.
