The Eastern PA Homestead Festival debuted in 2025 on the Kutztown Fairgrounds as a successor to the discontinued Kutztown Folk Festival, bringing back Pennsylvania Dutch craftsmen, folk music, and traditional food over the July Fourth weekend. It continues the region's decades-old tradition of showcasing Pennsylvania German folklife after America's oldest folklife festival closed in 2024. The event runs for four days at the same fairgrounds that hosted the original festival.
