Christmas in Comfort celebrates the holiday season in a Texas Hill Country town founded in 1854 by German Freethinker immigrants, with roughly 125 arts and craft vendors filling the historic district. The day culminates in a nighttime parade of lighted floats through Comfort's well-preserved nineteenth-century downtown. The event is organized by the local chamber of commerce as the town's main annual gathering.
