Winterfair Oude Stad en Waagplein

The Winterfair turns the Waagplein and the surrounding Oude Stad (old town) into a wintry market. Numerous shops and caterers from the Oude Stad, along with external stallholders, present themselves at stalls, accompanied by music, entertainment, a living nativity scene and a children's area. The Winterfair is organised by the Oude Stad Alkmaar merchants' association; admission is free.
