Alphornmesse

The Alphornmesse (alphorn mass) is an ecumenical mountain service on the 838-metre-high Ettelsberg, accompanied musically by numerous alphorn players, music groups and bands. The event draws several thousand visitors and combines the church service with the character of a public festival. The mountain can be reached on foot or by the Ettelsberg cable car, and admission is free.
