At the long-established Wenningstedter Dorfteichfest (village pond festival), the area around the village pond is transformed into a colourful festival ground. In the afternoon there is a children's programme with games and craft activities, followed by the popular LIONS duck race on the pond. Live music and food stalls serving regional dishes provide entertainment into the night.
