The historical pageant "Der Meistertrunk" commemorates the legend that a courageous drink saved the town from destruction during the Thirty Years' War. At Whitsun, hundreds of participants in historical costumes bring the old town to life with performances, a military camp, and groups of horsemen and Landsknechte.
