In Travemünde's Brügmanngarten on the beach promenade, the Neujahrsgarten invites visitors to a wintry open-air world overlooking the Baltic Sea, under the motto „Winterzauber am Meer" (Winter Magic by the Sea). Under a large marquee there is Glühwein (mulled wine), food and music; the highlight is the New Year's Eve party with a DJ at the end of the year. Admission is free.
