Lasershow in der Silvesternacht

At the turn of the year, an approximately 15-minute laser show transforms the pedestrian zone of the old town between the town hall and the Martinskirche into a play of light, music and fog. Late in the evening a DJ performs on the stage in front of the town hall, while several food stalls provide refreshments. The city offers the laser show as an alternative to fireworks in the historic old town, partly for fire-safety reasons.
