Kasseler Musiktage

Founded in 1933, the Kasseler Musiktage are among the oldest music festivals in Europe. The 2026 edition puts musical movement at its centre and uses both familiar venues and places in the city waiting to be discovered. Among the ensembles expected are the Staatsorchester Kassel, the Stegreiforchester and the Akademie für Alte Musik Berlin.
