The Hochlandfest is the festival of the Schönfeld-Weißig district in the east of Dresden. The 28th edition runs under the motto ‚Back to the roots‘ and is held in the Weißig part of the district along the Südstraße, with courtyards open along the street, stalls run by the school, kindergarten, church and fire brigade, and an evening event in the marquee by the Gasthof Weißig.
