The Burgfrieden transforms the Wasserburg Blomendal in Bremen-Blumenthal into a pre-Christmas village. Amid the lively bustle there is food and drink, coffee and cake, as well as a Weihnachtsmarkt where craftspeople present tailoring, woodwork, fine art, natural cosmetics and decorations. The event sees itself as a sign of peaceful togetherness.
