The Klagenfurter Krampuslauf (Krampus run) ranks among the largest Krampus events in Kärnten (Carinthia) and draws tens of thousands of spectators into the city centre each year. In the evening, numerous Krampus groups in elaborate masks and fur costumes move along Bahnhofstraße as far as Alter Platz. The parade is a traditional folklore run in the pre-Christmas period.
