Faschingstreiben am Alten Platz

On Faschingsdienstag (Shrove Tuesday), the innkeepers of the Alter Platz turn Klagenfurt's city centre into a Fasching (carnival) meeting point. In the afternoon there is a family programme with children's entertainment and a bouncy castle, while in the evening live music and DJs provide the atmosphere; guests in costume are expressly welcome. The Stadtrichter zu Clagenfurth run a charity bar in aid of a good cause.
