Faschingstreiben am Alten Platz

Carnival · Klagenfurt, Innere Stadt · 9 February 2027

Note: the 2027 date is not yet officially confirmed – please check with the organiser before visiting.

On Faschingsdienstag (Shrove Tuesday), the innkeepers of the Alter Platz turn Klagenfurt's city center into a Fasching (carnival) meeting point. In the afternoon there is a family program with children's entertainment and a bouncy castle, while in the evening live music and DJs provide the atmosphere; guests in costume are expressly welcome. The Stadtrichter zu Clagenfurth run a charity bar in aid of a good cause.
