The Pueblo German American Club hosts its annual Fasching celebration at the city's historic Union Depot, with doors opening in the evening for dancing to a live band. The event follows the German pre-Lenten Karneval tradition and is one of the club's two main social gatherings of the year, alongside its autumn Oktoberfest. Pueblo's German-American community has organized cultural events through the club since the late 1960s.
