Providence, a small Cache Valley city, holds an annual Sauerkraut Days celebration each August that traces back to the town's early-1900s German and Swiss settlers. The multi-day event includes a parade to Zollinger Park, a fun run, a pancake breakfast and a sauerkraut dinner, organized by Providence City. Recent editions ran in the second week of August.
