The German American Cultural Society of Rhode Island holds its annual Oktoberfest on its grounds on Carter Avenue in Pawtucket. The 2026 event runs Saturday, September 26 (noon-11pm) and Sunday, September 27 (noon-5pm), and is considered the most authentic German-American club celebration in the state. Pawtucket itself has about 75,000 residents, larger than most towns in this set but one of the few places in Rhode Island with an active German club.
