The Donauschwaben German-American Cultural Center in Olmsted Township hosts an annual Krampusfest, drawing on the Alpine folklore figure who accompanies St. Nicholas to punish misbehaving children. The center serves the Cleveland area's Danube Swabian German community. The event follows the center's Bierfest held earlier the same month.
