The largest German-American celebration in the U.S., an annual parade up Manhattan's Fifth Avenue with marching bands, floats and traditional Dirndl and Lederhosen honoring New York's German heritage. The same day closes with a ticketed Oktoberfest at Central Park's SummerStage, promoted as the biggest Oktoberfest in the city.
