Historical festival · New Braunfels, Heritage Village · April 17–18, 2027

Note: the 2027 date is not yet officially confirmed – please check with the organiser before visiting.

Folkfest recreates daily life in 1840s New Braunfels at Heritage Village, the open-air museum of the town's original German settler buildings. Living history reenactors, period music, artisan demonstrations, and locally produced food mark the founding of the town by Prince Carl of Solms-Braunfels' German colonization venture. The festival is organized by the New Braunfels Conservation Society.
