Hands-On History Day at Landis Valley Village & Farm Museum lets visitors try Pennsylvania German textile crafts firsthand, running alongside the museum's Fall Institute program on turning flax and fleece into fabric. The museum preserves a nineteenth-century Pennsylvania Dutch farmstead and village north of Lancaster. It is one of dozens of events the museum runs each year to keep Pennsylvania German rural traditions alive.
