Fort Loramie's German Heritage Festival is held each fall in a downtown park and is billed as a German celebration with food, music and plenty of beer, served inside a large tent. The menu includes stuffed cabbage, German potato salad, apple dumplings and Reuben bites, alongside a car show. The event ties into the area's history of German immigrants who worked on the Miami-Erie Canal.
