Note: the 2027 date is not yet officially confirmed – please check with the organiser before visiting.

Tivoli Fest is Elk Horn's Memorial Day weekend celebration of Danish heritage, featuring aebleskiver pancake breakfasts, folk dancing, a parade, and craft vendors around the town's landmark working Danish windmill. The small Iowa town was settled by Danish immigrants in the 1860s and is promoted as home to the only authentic Danish windmill in the United States. The festival has run for over four decades and is one of the town's two major annual draws alongside its Christmas season events.
