Elberta, a small Baldwin County town founded by German immigrants, hosts the German Sausage Festival at Elberta Town Park. The event features homemade German sausage, sauerkraut, craft vendors and live music, and is run twice a year by the nonprofit Elberta Community Partners. The spring edition traditionally falls on the last Saturday of March.
