Around the anniversary of the liberation of Breda by the 1st Polish Armoured Division on 29 October 1944, several commemorative events take place. These include the laying of wreaths at the war cemeteries (among them Pools Militair Ereveld and Ereveld Ginneken), a memorial service in the Mariakerk and ceremonies at war memorials. The foundation coordinates the annual remembrance of the soldiers who fell, often at a young age.
