At the Sinterklaasintocht (arrival of Sinterklaas), Sinterklaas arrives by boat at the Rijnkade in Arnhem. After his arrival, he moves through the town centre in a parade together with his Pieten. Traditionally, many families with children line the route. The event is free to attend.
