The Nationale Tulpendag opens the tulip season on the Museumplein. Dutch tulip growers lay out a picking garden with around 200,000 tulips, from which visitors may pick a bunch free of charge from 13:00 (a maximum of 10 stems per person). This year's theme is 'United in Bloom'.
