The Kinsale Arts Weekend brings music, theatre, film, visual art, literature and dance to the town over four days. The 2026 tenth-anniversary edition offered more than fifty events, from an opera concert to a film series at the Friary, and it relies largely on volunteers. Its theme that year was Immrama, an old Irish term for voyage tales.
