A free two-day celebration of South Asian culture held at Exhibition Park over the late-August bank holiday. The festival features live music and dance, a funfair, market stalls and street food reflecting Pakistani, Bengali, Indian and other South Asian traditions. It is one of the largest events of its kind in the north-east of England.
