The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo

Music festival · Edinburgh, Old Town · 7–29 August 2026

A display of massed military bands, pipes and drums performed on the esplanade of Edinburgh Castle throughout August. The show combines Scottish and international military musicians with display teams, dancers and a fireworks finale against the floodlit castle. Performances take place on most evenings across the festival month.
