The Herzogstrassenfest is the oldest and most established street festival in the northern district of Bern and has taken place since 1981. For the event, Herzogstrasse and parts of Beundenfeldstrasse are closed to traffic. The programme includes a children's flea market, live music, food stalls and carousels, among other attractions.
