Canada's Great Bavarian Festival and one of the largest Oktoberfest celebrations in the world outside Munich, rooted in the deep German heritage of the Kitchener-Waterloo region. Running from late September through Thanksgiving, it features Festhallen with live oompah bands, Bavarian food and beer, the free outdoor Willkommen Platz on King Street, KIDtoberfest family programming, and the traditional Thanksgiving Day Parade.
