Silvester in der Altstadt

For the turn of the year, Salzburg's old town around the Kapitelplatz offers a free programme featuring regional artists and cultural practitioners, live music and firework broadcasts on an LED screen. At midnight, the bells of the Salzburger Dom ring in the new year, accompanied by a music-synchronised firework display over the Festung Hohensalzburg.
