At the Alpen-Adria Genussmeile (culinary mile), around 50 hand-picked producers from Carinthia, Styria, Slovenia, Friuli, the Veneto and Istria present their specialities in the historic town centre. Between Neuer Platz, Alter Platz and Ossiacher Hof, olive oils, cheese, truffles, wild herbs, wines, meat, sweets and coffee are offered for tasting and buying. Admission is free, and the Genussmeile marks the close of the Tage der Alpen-Adria Küche (Days of Alpine-Adriatic Cuisine).
