The Graz Marathon is the city's largest running event, with its start and finish in front of the Oper Graz. The route runs through the city centre, across the Hauptplatz and the Herrengasse, and along the Mur. In addition to the marathon over 42.195 kilometres, the events on offer include a half marathon and a family run, among others.
